Additionally, with a recent major acquisition in 2023, Transdev US has doubled its size and footprint. The CIO will play a key role in the ongoing integration strategy and implementation of the two legacy companies' IT application and infrastructure portfolios.

Job Description
An experienced and visionary Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead the technology strategy and drive digital transformation across the organization. The CIO will be responsible for aligning technology initiatives with business goals, implementing best practices for IT infrastructure and operations, and fostering a culture of innovation and collaboration within the IT function and across the other support functions and the business. This role plays a pivotal role in leading and executing transformative strategies and related systems and processes. Additionally, the role is critical in the current integration of the two legacy companies' systems and/or data platforms.


Key Responsibilities

  1. Develop and implement a comprehensive IT strategy that supports the company's objectives and enables growth and scalability.
  2. Lead the IT department in planning, budgeting, and executing technology projects and initiatives.
  3. Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, databases, and cybersecurity systems.
  4. Drive digital transformation initiatives, leveraging emerging technologies to enhance business processes and customer experiences.
  5. Collaborate with other executive team members to identify opportunities for innovation and competitive advantage through technology.
  6. Establish and maintain strong relationships with technology vendors, partners, and industry stakeholders.
  7. Provide leadership and mentorship to IT staff, fostering a culture of excellence, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  8. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, data privacy laws, and industry standards related to information security and IT operations.
  9. Evaluate and mitigate IT risks, including cybersecurity threats, data breaches, and system failures.
  10. Monitor IT performance metrics and KPIs, and report on progress to senior management and board of directors.

Q ualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science , Information Technology, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT leadership roles, with at least 5 years in a senior management or executive position.
  • Proven track record of developing and executing IT strategies that drive business value and competitive advantage.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise IT systems, including network infrastructure, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and data analytics.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams.
  • Experience working in a regulated industry (if applicable) and familiarity with compliance requirements.
  • Accomplished experience with transformation and M&A integrations
  • Strategic thinker with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, ITIL) are a plus.
