Job Overview - Chief Financial Officer: Our client is seeking an experienced Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join their expanding team in New Jersey. As the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for overseeing all finance activities, providing strategic recommendations, managing financial forecasting and reporting, and ensuring compliance with risk and governance frameworks.
Location: New Jersey, NJ (Hybrid) Compensation: $250,000 - $300,000/year + bonus Schedule: 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Monday to Friday Responsibilities as the Chief Financial Officer: - Leadership and Management: Lead and manage the finance and accounting team, providing strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive management team.
- Financial Planning and Reporting: Oversee financial forecasting, budgeting, and the preparation of monthly and annual financial reports.
- Business Insight: Provide insights across the business to exceed targets, ensuring risk and compliance management frameworks are operational.
- Stakeholder Relations: Establish and develop relationships with senior management, external partners, and stakeholders.
- Audit and Tax Preparation: Oversee annual audit and tax preparation with external providers.
- Treasury and Debt Management: Manage bank treasury services and senior debt facilities.
- Procedure Review: Review all formal finance and HR-related procedures.
Qualifications for the Chief Financial Officer: - Experience: 15-20 years of experience in Public/Private sectors. Experience with Asset-Based Lending, Credit/Lending, and Borrowing Base Calculations is essential.
- Education: MBA/CPA preferred.
- Skills: Hands-on approach, strong understanding of asset-based lending, familiarity with factoring systems.
