The role of Chief Financial Officer (CFO) holds significant importance within the executive leadership of any organization, tasked with overseeing all financial operations. Reporting directly to the CEO or Board of Directors, the CFO provides strategic guidance on financial matters, ensuring compliance, and contributing to the company's overall growth and success. Key Responsibilities: Financial Strategy and Planning:

  • Develop and execute financial strategies aligned with organizational goals.
  • Lead annual budgeting and forecasting in collaboration with department heads.
  • Offer strategic advice on capital allocation and long-term financial planning.

Financial Reporting and Analysis:

  • Supervise the preparation of accurate financial reports and ensure compliance with regulations.
  • Conduct thorough financial analysis to assess performance and identify improvement areas.

Risk Management and Compliance:

  • Establish internal controls to mitigate financial risks and ensure compliance.
  • Monitor adherence to regulatory requirements and manage financial risks effectively.

Treasury and Cash Management:

  • Optimize cash flow strategies to support operations and strategic initiatives.
  • Manage banking relationships and debt financing to minimize risk exposure.

Investor Relations and Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as the primary contact for investors, analysts, and financial institutions.
  • Communicate financial performance and strategy to external stakeholders.

Strategic Leadership and Decision Support:

  • Collaborate with the executive team to formulate strategic plans and initiatives.
  • Provide financial insights to support decision-making on business initiatives.

Talent Development and Team Leadership:

  • Recruit and retain a high-performing finance team.
  • Provide mentorship and foster a culture of collaboration and continuous improvement.

Education and Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
  • 10+ years of progressive finance and accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
  • CPA certification and proficiency in MS Excel, Dynamics 365, and Quickbooks.
