We are looking for an outstanding Chief Engineer to use extensive technical expertise to move a narrowband military satellite communications system for U.S. forces forward.

This person's responsibilities will span from crafting technical strategies and driving product innovations to spearheading technical responses to proposals and nurturing client relationships and the next generation of engineers.
Duties and Responsibilities
Oversee intricate technology development and steer design processes, recommending advancements to replace end-of-life hardware.
Collaborate closely with Business Development to shape strategy and maintain regular engagement with Government sponsors, industry partners, and technical personnel.
Deliver technical responses to government and commercial proposals.
Foster collaboration among the company's Chief Engineers across business lines on common technical issues and strategic initiatives.
Develop comprehensive technical strategies, roadmaps, and product development plans.
Lead in-depth studies aimed at advancing MUOS to a 5G network architecture and upgraded ground system.
Provide technical leadership in designing, analyzing, implementing, testing, and sustaining capabilities in this adapted 3G WCDMA cellular system for the military and associated ground system.
Deliver quick and thorough resolution of non-conformances and other challenges that might arise, including leading failure investigations and presentation of findings to internal and customer review boards.
Mentor and guide engineering team members to foster their professional growth.
