Chemistry Teacher

Health Advocates Network is seeking a Chemistry Teacher to work at a Facility in Baltimore, MD. This is a registry position with our company.

Pay Rate: $35 - $40 / hour

Shifts Details:

Monday through Friday 8am-4pm

We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Chemistry Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in chemistry and a passion for educating students. The Chemistry Teacher will be responsible for creating engaging lesson plans, conducting experiments, and fostering a positive learning environment for students.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement lesson plans that adhere to the school's curriculum and educational standards

Conduct laboratory experiments and demonstrations to help students understand key chemical concepts

Assess student progress through tests, quizzes, and assignments

Provide feedback to students and parents on academic performance and areas for improvement

Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a supportive learning environment

Stay up-to-date on the latest developments in the field of chemistry and incorporate them into teaching practices

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field (Master's degree preferred)

Teaching certification/license/conditional license in Maryland

Previous experience teaching chemistry at the high school level

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Ability to inspire and motivate students to reach their full potential
