Chemistry Quality Control Technician - Calhoun, GA
We have partnered with our client who is looking for an experienced Quality Control, QC Technician for their manufacturing facility. This role is involved in all phases of the production lifecycle. The QC Technician will be evaluating raw materials to inspecting finished products to verify they meet target specifications. QC technicians will conduct testing, take measurements, or perform other assessments, which may include chemical analysis.
Work Location: Calhoon, GA.
Work days & Hours: Monday to Friday. 8 Hour shift
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Conduct routine testing of in-process materials, raw materials, samples, and finished materials to ensure quality control of products at the point of production, shipping, and arrival upon the job site.
- Record quality and product issues in company ISO quality platforms (SCM & CORE)
- Testing to customer requirements of finished parts for physical properties, and flammability.
- Communicate approved test results in a timely manner.
- Maintain lab and plant quality testing equipment and accessories to ensure calibration and records are up to date for ISO 9001:2015 compliance.
Education and/or Experience Requirements.
- Bachelor Degree in Chemistry or other related sciences.
- 2 years of Quality Control experience
Computer Skills:
- SAP experience preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft office
Physical demands: This position may require periods of long standing.
