As a Hair Care & Manageability Chemist (Competition and Market Analysis), you will support lab partners by tracking new strategic Hair Care launches from competitors, deep-dive on ingredient listings and technologies, and analyze new trends in the market.
- Investigate and track new competitor launches in the US Hair Care market
- Create and maintain brand ID cards with product information
- Observe and document trends in the Hair Care market
- Partner with evaluation and discovery domains to decode competitor technologies
- Order samples of new competitor launches for internal evaluation
- Communicate technical findings within the Hair Care Teams
- Develop expertise of the US Hair Care market
Requirements• Proficient in Microsoft Office, especially PowerPoint
• Ability to work with minimum supervision.
• 6-12 months experience is required
• Knowledge of hair care industry a plus
• Creative and self-motivated.
• Be able to think out of the box and willing to take an extra step to get job done.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the US on an on-going basis.
• Experience and understanding of formulation of, surfactant and emulsion systems. Hair product formulation a plus.
