Job Description

AECOM has an exciting opportunity for a Chemical and Process Engineer Discipline Lead to join our Oil and Gas Remediation team. We are seeking highly talented candidates who will be able to immediately contribute to the successful delivery of existing projects and promote growth in existing and new markets. You will work with a diverse team of technical leaders, program managers, and project managers delivering remediation consulting, design, and implementation services to our key clients. This position is currently being considered at a part time, 20 hours per week, role.

Responsibilities for this position may include the following:

Serves as lead engineer on remediation systems, technology assessment, and remedial alternatives.

Leading the preparation of plans, specifications, cost estimates, technical reports, and other project documents, as well as reviewing engineering designs.

Assessing system performance and optimization after leading the commissioning and start up.

Collaborate technical and practice leads to bring AECOM's national and global expertise to serve clients, strategize with clients, and promote client advocacy with regulatory agencies.

Identifies new business opportunities for AECOM, coordinates and participates in project presentations to clients and other external groups, and promotes AECOM's capabilities, marketing its services among existing and prospective clients.

Proactively identify opportunities to increase project efficiencies, improve technical methodologies and add value to client service offerings.

Coordinates and participates in contract negotiations with clients and subcontractors and drafts complex professional service agreements and addenda for review by senior management.

May supervise technical professionals, associate project managers, and design staff including workload and staffing management.

Assisting with marketing, growth, and business development needs within the region.

Participating in professional societies and Technical Practice Groups relevant to the industry.

The successful candidate will be committed to the team's success and growth; will rigorously apply safety policies and procedures; will manage the technical, cost and schedule elements of project delivery; and will effectively manage the quality of field efforts and project deliverables within the bounds of the AECOM Quality Management System.

May act as Project Manager on large, complex projects, responsible for technical delivery, schedule management, fiscal management, client liaison, reporting requirements, and coordination with project team members.

Assist with development of junior staff through ongoing mentoring.
