Short Description Primary responsibility is to maintain the Chargemaster for Cooper University Health System to ensure proper revenue generation, improve all aspects of revenue cycle operation (coding, charge capture and process flow-through) and maintain compliance with third-party payer requirements.
Experience Required At least 2-4 years experience and knowledge of hospital operations & payment systems. Understanding of CDM methodology and various coding systems used in healthcare, financial management and reporting.
Education Requirements High School Diploma or Equivalent required; college degree preferred
License/Certification Requirements Recognized coding certification ( CPC, CPC-H, CCS-P, CCS, RHIA, RHIT, etc.) maintained or in progress
