Job Number 664658BR Description:Marine Corps Systems Quality Engineering Team is looking for a highly motivated, creative individual to provide direct support to the CH-53K program. The successful candidate will be interacting with the program and providing guidance with respect to the aircraft build and sustainment, working out of the Stratford, CT facility. This individual will be responsible for managing all aspects of Program Quality for the aircraft being produced along with direct customer communications at the program level. Responsible for developing and participating in customer and executive level briefings to provide insight and status on program activities. This position requires coordination with Engineering, Operations, and Supply Management on product quality and effective issue resolution as well as root cause corrective action. Candidates for this position should possess strong product and process knowledge, excellent technical skills, and effective communication and presentation skills. The selected individual may be required to work outside the core working hours to support customer needs.
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Business or Engineering related discipline or equivalent Experience.
Experienced leader with 6+ years in various Quality positions with increasing responsibility.
Demonstrated ability to make critical decisions, set priorities and provide succinct direction in a dynamic business environment.
Experience developing and maintaining positive working relationships with external customers.
Demonstrated ability to drive process improvement and drive change.
Strong working knowledge of problem solving/root cause analysis and process management.
Desired skills are the additional skills that help narrow down a qualified candidate list.
Desired Skills:
A self-starter with the ability to work in a fast-paced, changing environment with minimal supervision required.
Master's Degree in Business or Engineering related discipline.
Program Quality Management and Quality Engineering experience. Master's Degree in Business or Engineering related discipline.
Experienced in implementing and maintaining AS9100-certified Quality Management Systems. Experienced in implementing and maintaining ISO 9001 / AS9100-certified Quality Management Systems.
Experience working with Sikorsky helicopter products along with previous work experience in a production/manufacturing environment and Flight Hangar.
Working knowledge of DOD contract requirements.
Working knowledge of aircraft logbooks and manuals.
Experience in root cause analysis, mistake proofing, project management, and technical writing skills.
Strong communication skills including the ability to interface effectively with executive leadership on strategic and tactical issues affecting the quality of products delivered. Must possess effective communication where you are able to structure, prepare and deliver compelling and clear communications.
Demonstrated knowledge of MS office products (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) is required.
ITC and Docpak working knowledge.
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
