Position Overview: We are seeking a sophisticated and dynamic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our private equity-backed healthcare services company. In this pivotal role, you will serve as a strategic business partner to private equity investors, the CEO, and the board, driving value creation and executing operational excellence. The ideal candidate will possess a unique blend of advanced financial expertise, strategic thinking, and exceptional leadership qualities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Leadership:

  • Oversee all financial operations including accounting, treasury, taxation, planning, and analysis.
  • Implement and maintain solid financial control systems and risk management protocols.
  • Leverage new digital finance analytics tools to enhance decision-making and cost efficiency.

2. Strategic Partnership:

  • Collaborate with the CEO and the executive team on strategic initiatives and business growth opportunities.
  • Participate in key business and Physician Leader meetings to align financial strategies with business objectives.
  • Develop and execute financial strategies to support the company's long-term goals and exit strategy.
  • Partner with internal and external clients to evaluate new and existing space to facilitate growth within the organization.

3. Stakeholder Management:

  • Navigate the complex dynamics of different stakeholders including shareholders, the board, the executive team, and physician leaders.
  • Ensure alignment and manage relationships with all stakeholders, balancing varying priorities and perspectives.
  • Provide original insights into business economics and offer solutions to organizational challenges.
  • Create presentations for all levels of stakeholders that are accurate and engaging.

4. Change Management:

  • Drive the adoption of best-in-class operational practices and technology within the finance function and operations.
  • Implement processes and controls in environments with less developed capabilities compared to larger corporations.
  • Lead initiatives to improve operational efficiencies and financial performance.

5. Solutions-Oriented Approach:

  • Address ambiguous business situations with a solutions-oriented mindset.
  • Manage the entire finance organization, working closely with the CEO and board on strategic issues.
  • Work broadly across various finance areas, demonstrating a hands-on approach when necessary.

Required Qualifications:

Experience:

  • Proven experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably with enterprise-level CFO experience.
  • Extensive background in managing the entire finance function, including audit, FP&A, tax, and treasury.
  • Prior experience in private equity-backed healthcare is highly desirable.
  • MBA or CPA highly preferred.

Skills:

  • Exceptional stakeholder management skills with the ability to navigate complex relationships.
  • Strong strategic thinking capabilities and a deep understanding of business economics.
  • Expertise in change management, with a track record of implementing processes and controls in less developed environments.

Salary: $200,000 - $225,000/ annually
