Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Sterile Processing Technician to join our medical team. As a Sterile Processing Technician, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and cleanliness of medical equipment used in patient care. Your attention to detail and adherence to aseptic techniques will contribute to the overall success of our healthcare facility.

Duties:
- Clean, decontaminate, and sterilize medical instruments and equipment
- Inspect instruments for damage or defects and report any issues
- Assemble instrument trays and surgical sets according to established guidelines
- Ensure proper functioning of sterilization equipment and perform routine maintenance
- Maintain accurate records of sterilization processes and equipment maintenance
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure timely availability of sterile supplies
- Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Certification as a Sterile Processing Technician preferred
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and sterile processing procedures
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with healthcare professionals
