THE POSITION Are you a responsible and dependable Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner who is looking for a career with an amazing organization? This position is responsible for the medical care and treatment of assigned individuals, attends psychiatric interdisciplinary meetings, and attends peer review meetings for other facilities. DESCRIPTION OF WORK A Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner is responsible for the medical care and treatment for the individuals assigned to their care. Duties include providing annual physical examinations to each individual, ordering laboratory and x-rays as needed, making daily rounds and overseeing individuals during activities, and conducting daily dispensary for individuals who are sick. You also keep the Clinical Services Director aware of any significant changes in individuals' conditions, meet with team members regarding psychotropic drug usage, and complete on-call duties as scheduled. Work Schedule and Additional Information: Full-time employment, 37.5-hour work week Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with 30-minute lunch, rotating schedule. Special Requirement: You must possess a valid certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Practitioner (CRNP) issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing. Conditions of Employment: You must possess a valid CRNP certification in an Adult Psychiatry/MH specialty area as issued by the PA State Board of Nursing. Post Employment Requirement: Certain positions in this job are required to obtain and maintain valid CRNP Prescriptive Authority Approval to prescribe and dispense drugs as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nursing Other Requirements: PA residency requirement is currently waived for this title.
