We will provide support, linkage to treatment, and resources to help individuals navigate the journey to recovery with dignity and respect.
Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) to join our dynamic team in the STAR program. The CRS will play a crucial role in supporting individuals through their recovery journey by offering guidance, advocacy, and encouragement. This position offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.
Responsibilities: - Provide one-on-one support and guidance to individuals enrolled in the STAR program. - Assist clients in setting and achieving personal recovery goals. - Advocate for clients' needs and rights within the program and community. - Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans. - Maintain accurate and confidential records of client interactions and progress. - Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
Qualifications: - Certified Recovery Specialist (CRS) certification required. - High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred. - Previous experience working in behavioral health or substance abuse treatment settings preferred. - Strong interpersonal and communication skills. - Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. - Compassionate, nonjudgmental attitude towards individuals in recovery. - Willingness to adhere to ethical standards and maintain client confidentiality.
