Position: We are seeking a board - certified occupational therapy assistant who will provide direct Occupational Therapy services for people of all ages diagnosed with Developmental/Intellectual Disabilities. The occupational therapy assistant works directly under the supervision of a board-certified Occupational Therapist and as part of an interdisciplinary team to foster people's skill development to achieve their goals.

This occupational therapy assistant position is a full-time, facility-based position that we are looking to fill by September 2024 with flexible hours. Hourly pay starts at $25/hour and remains competitive based on experience. The Occupational Therapy Assistant will report directly to the Director of Occupational Therapy.

Requirements:Graduation from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program, current certification by the National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy (NBCOT), licensure as an occupational therapy assistant in the state of Indiana, be able to legally work in the United States, be able to lift up to 50 lbs., be able to walk, bend, squat, turn in the knees, back, wrist and shoulders and grasp with both hands, be able to competently administer CPR/First Aid once trained during orientation, and demonstrate proof of a negative TB screening. It is preferred a candidate have at least one (1) year of experience working with individuals with disabilities.

Compensation details: 25-28 Hourly Wage
