Qualifications:

Associate's degree or higher from an accredited occupational therapy assistant program.
Current state licensure or certification as a COTA.
Previous experience in occupational therapy preferred.
Knowledge of therapeutic practices and patient management.
Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
A compassionate nature with a drive to provide patient-centered care.

Job Overview: The COTA will work under the guidance of our occupational therapists to implement therapeutic programs and help patients develop, recover, and maintain the skills needed for daily living and working. Responsibilities:

Assist in the delivery of occupational therapy services under the supervision of a licensed occupational therapist.
Help patients develop, recover, and improve the skills needed for daily living and working.
Document patient progress and report to the occupational therapist.
Maintain a clean and safe therapy environment.
Educate patients and family members about ongoing therapy and exercises.
