NOW HIRING: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA)
Responsibilities of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):
- Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, feeding, and toileting.
- Monitor and record patients' vital signs, such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiratory rate.
- Help patients with mobility and positioning, including transferring them from beds to chairs and turning bedridden patients to prevent pressure ulcers.
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding, and ensure patients are adequately hydrated.
- Observe and report any changes in the patient's physical and mental conditions to the nursing staff or healthcare provider.
- Maintain a clean and safe patient environment by keeping patient areas tidy and following infection control protocols.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to patients, addressing their emotional and psychosocial needs.
- Follow safety and confidentiality protocols and maintain patient privacy.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated patient care.
Qualifications of a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA):
- High school diploma
- CNA certification in NJ
- Serious applicants
