Responsibilities The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse or Licensed Practical Nurse, performs routine tasks in patient care and bedside nursing. This position requires direct patient care. Education and Experience CPR Certification. Knowledge of basic patient care techniques and skills. Additional State Specific Requirements AR: Complete a state approved program with at least 90 hours of education/training and pass the nursing assistant competency exam LA: Complete a state approved CNA training program and pass the CNA certification exam TX: Successfully complete a state approved nurse aide training and competency evaluation program and pass the competency evaluation examination OR qualify to be placed on the Texas Nurse Aide Registry through waiver or reciprocity Company Overview LHC Group is committed to a culture of diversity, equity and inclusion and is an equal opportunity employer.
