The CNA2/HUC is a key person within the nursing unit who provides overall administrative and technical assistance and support in the operation of the assigned nursing unit; Collaborates with other staff and leaders in the development, oversight and operation of the unit. Required Qualifications: Coursework/Training - Completion of Oregon State Board of Nursing (OSBN) recognized Acute Care CNA 2 course. Or equivalent educ/experience, 1 year experience performing secretarial duties in healthcare. Coursework/Training - Medical terminology course. Or equivalent educ/experience, Grandfathered to CNA 2 per OSBN requirements. Oregon Nursing Assistant Certification License upon hire. National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire. Experience with a variety of software applications. Preferred Qualifications: Coursework/Training - 1 year of post high school education. Coursework/Training - Satisfactory completion of health unit coordinator coursework. Or equivalent educ/experience, National Certification Health Unit Coordinator upon hire.
