Full Time and Part Time 3rd Shift: 3:00 pm - 11:15 pm

We are seeking a new Certified Nursing Assistant to join our team. Your role will be to assist with the activities of daily living, a safe environment, physical comfort, and emotional and social support to our residents. As a member of the Nursing department, you will work with fellow CNAs, RNs, LPNs, Dietary Aides, and Activities staff, and report to our Nurse managers and Director of Nursing

What You Will Do:
  • Providing great patient care
  • Maintain the comfort, privacy and dignity of residents in the delivery of care
  • Providing physical support for patients or residents with daily activities and personal hygiene, including bathing, dressing, getting out of bed, - using the toilet, walking, standing, or exercising
  • Knowledgeable of the resident centered care plan developed for each resident, provide support to residents according to the care plan
  • Turning and repositioning bedridden patients
  • Urgency and responsiveness to all resident call lights
  • Complete all delegated tasks from the nurse
  • Although may typically work in one area of Eastcastle Place, may be necessary to relocate to a different level of care unit/floor at the supervisor's discretion based on the needs of the community and resident needs
  • Measuring and recording food and liquid intake and urinary and fecal output and reporting changes to medical or nursing staff.
  • Recording vital signs, including blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration rate as requested by staff
  • Examining patients to detect issues requiring medical care, including open wounds, bruises, or blood in the urine and noting observations of patient behavior, including complaints, or physical symptoms to nurses.
  • Stay up to date on CNA training and facility policy and procedure

What You Will Bring:

Our ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years of relevant field experience and the following credentials/skills:
  • High School or GED
  • Communication skills
  • Teamwork
  • Strong work ethic
  • Attention to detail
  • Organizational skills
  • Prior CNA experience and experience in a Long-Term Care facility, preferred
  • Active CNA registration through the state of Wisconsin
