As Certified Nursing Assistant, you are delegated the authority, responsibility, and accountability for carrying out your assigned duties.
The Nursing Assistant, acts under the direction of a Registered Nurse and a License Practical Nurse
• The Nursing Assistant provides patient care in accordance with the resident's assessment and care plan
• Assist patients with activities of daily living which promote general comfort, well being, and safety
• Participates in the observation of patient conditions and promptly reports changes to the primary nurse
• Documents patient care or unit tasks in electronic medical records as per policy
• Responds promptly to the needs of patient, communicates patient/family requests, or concerns appropriately and immediately
Demonstrates competency care procedures (foley catheter, enemas, vital signs, etc.)
