Job Details

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to join our dynamic healthcare team. This full-time, permanent position offers the opportunity to provide direct patient care and support in a fast-paced, rewarding medical environment. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years of experience in the healthcare industry, with a proven track record of providing exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities:
As a Certified Nursing Assistant, your primary responsibilities will include:

1. Assisting patients with daily activities, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding.
2. Monitoring and recording patients' vital signs including blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration rates.
3. Administering medication as directed by the nursing staff or physician, ensuring the right patient receives the right medication at the right time.
4. Providing emotional support to patients and their families, demonstrating empathy and understanding during difficult times.
5. Assisting with patient mobility, including moving patients from beds to wheelchairs or assisting with walking.
6. Collaborating with the healthcare team to create and implement patient care plans.
7. Maintaining a clean and safe environment for patients, adhering to infection control protocols.
8. Reporting any changes in patients' health status to the nursing staff or physician promptly.
9. Assisting with medical procedures, as appropriate, under the supervision of a nurse or physician.

Qualifications:
The successful candidate for this Certified Nursing Assistant role will possess the following qualifications:

1. A valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in a healthcare setting, preferably in a hospital or long-term care facility.
3. Proficiency in patient bathing, vital signs measurement, feeding assistance, and medication administration.
4. Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, their families, and healthcare team members.
5. Demonstrated empathy and the ability to provide emotional support to patients in a respectful and compassionate manner.
6. Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures.
7. Basic computer skills, including proficiency with electronic health records systems.
8. Ability to work a flexible schedule, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
9. BLS (Basic Life Support) certification preferred.
10. Physical stamina and the ability to lift and move patients, as necessary.
