Certified Nurse Assistant for our client in Newark, NY for a 13 week contract with a high possibility of extension.
Position Title:
CNA Pay Rate: $30-34/HR
Work Location: Multiple Locations such as Utica, NY, Newark, NY etc
Shift: 40 hrs/week multiple shifts
Contract Duration: 13 Weeks
Licenses Requirement: NY license
Certification Requirement: BLS
Job Description: - Provide basic healthcare services to patients in their homes under the supervision of medical professionals.
- Assist with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes or concerns to the healthcare team.
- Administer medications according to prescribed schedules and document accurately.
- Assist with light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation as needed.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to patients and their families.
- Help patients with mobility, transferring, and exercises as prescribed by therapists.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients to prevent infections and accidents.
- Follow care plans and instructions from healthcare professionals to ensure proper patient care.
- Provide feedback to the healthcare team about patients' progress and any issues that arise during care.
