Available Shifts: Day: 6:00 am - 2:00 pm. Mid 2:00 pm - 10:00 pm

Qualifications of Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA):

  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification in the state of Iowa
  • Passed the state-issued CNA exam
  • Must be 18 or older.
  • Must be US Citizen or legally Authorized to work in the USA

Essential Functions of Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA):

  • Answers signal lights and bells to determine resident needs
  • Assists residents with grooming, oral hygiene, bathing, hair and incontinence care
  • Obtains food trays and assists residents with feeding
  • Assists resident with range of motion exercises
  • Provides for personal care and comfort
  • Movement to wheelchair or activity areas
  • Assists residents with ambulation for short distances in the facility
  • Takes and records temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rates, and food and fluid intake and output, as directed
  • Provides direct and indirect resident care services
  • Meets the communication needs of residents and family
  • Communicate to the nursing team changes in residents' clinical condition
  • Performs other tasks as assigned
