Work Hours & Benefits
Location Redwood City, California
Schedule AM/PM every Saturday and Sunday
Paid Sick Leave
Mileage Reimbursement We'll provide you with the technology to track your mileage and we'll compensate for all travel from one client to another.
Performance Evaluation - Be evaluated after 3 months of active employment.
Education, Experience, Skills, and (Licensing) Requirements:
Education High School Diploma (or GED or High School Equivalence Certificate)
Characteristics This is an autonomous position, so we're looking for individuals that are self-motivated, independent, and willing to learn through experience and receiving feedback. We're also looking for individuals that are compassionate, trustworthy, and service-minded.
Certification and Other Requirements:
Must have a CNA certification
Must have a CPR certification
Must have a Medication Technician/Aide certification in the state of California
Must have a smartphone for clock in/out and communication
Must be 18 years of age or older
Authorized to work in the United States
Experience:
Previous experience working in a senior living facility or similar healthcare setting preferred.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
Compassionate and patient-centered approach to caregiving.
CMT/CMA Job Responsibilities:
Administer medication to residents in accordance with physician orders and facility protocols.
Monitor residents for any adverse reactions to medication and report any concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medication records for all residents.
Assist with medication management, including ordering, storing, and disposing of medications as needed.
Provide support to residents with activities of daily living, as necessary.
Collaborate with other members of the healthcare team to ensure the holistic care of residents.
Follow all safety protocols and infection control measures to maintain a safe and clean environment for residents and staff.
Participate in training and educational opportunities to stay current on medication administration practices and senior care standards.
