Certified Medication Aide

Job Summary Regency Memory Care will be opening soon in Mt. Sterling, KY and seeks an experienced CMA. The successful candidate will be responsible to provide administration of medications, daily activity support, and a safe and secure environment while promoting independence, dignity and respect. Monitor and ensure general, physical, emotional and spiritual well-being of the residents. Assist with daily meal service. Assist with housekeeping and laundry services as needed. REQUIREMENTS High School diploma or equivalent. Current Kentucky Medication Aide Certification Kentucky Food Handler card CPR certification, approved by the American Heart Association (preferred) PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS This position requires walking, standing, and the ability to perform care duties and housekeeping for the duration of the work schedule. Sitting is performed only during breaks. Lifting ranges from 10 to 50 pounds on a regular/consistent basis. There is frequent bending, reaching, stretching, kneeling, squatting, and twisting. EXPERIENCE One to two years of long-term care or dementia care experience preferred. Full time, permanent position. Equal Opportunity Employer.
