Certified Medical Assistant

Our client, a primary care physician in Princeton, NJ, is seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join their team. The ideal candidate will have 3 years of experience, preferably in a primary care or internal medicine/family medicine setting. You will be responsible for providing clinical support, facilitating patient care, and ensuring smooth operations of medical services.

This is a full-time, on-site, temp to perm position.

Pay Rate: $20-22/hr .

Schedule: Monday through Thursday: 8:00AM - 4:30PM ; Friday: 8:00AM - 1:00PM

Responsibilities:
Schedule appointments, maintain accurate patient records, coordinate follow up care, and facilitate communication between patients and providers.
Conduct vital sign assessments, prepare patients for examinations, execute basic medical procedures, and administer injections.
Ensure examination rooms are prepared, oversee the inventory of medical supplies, and maintain medical equipment.
Provide excellent customer service to patients by addressing their concerns, responding to their inquiries effectively, and maintaining strict confidentiality of patient information.

Qualifications:
Medical Assistant Certification required .
Minimum of 3 years of experience, preferably in a primary care or internal medicine/family medicine setting, required .
Proficiency in electronic medical records and Microsoft Office.
Proficiency in conducting EKGs and phlebotomy procedures preferred .
Possess excellent patient service skills, communicating effectively and empathetically, coupled with experience in medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments and maintaining patient records.
