Job Title: Certified Medical Assistant

Job Location: Minnetonka, MN

Job Type: Permanent

Job Duties:
Perform clinical and clerical tasks to assist with the management of patient flow throughout clinic
Standard rooming processes
Giving medications as directed by provider (medications are minimal in cardiology and no immunizations/injections are given)
Provide telephone support
Facilitate communication between patients and providers
Assist with medication refills
Perform phlebotomy duties (training can be provided)
Stocking supplies/rooms
Perform EKGs

Job Requirements:
A minimum of 1-year experience in a clinical setting - Required
Previous Clinic Work - Highly Preferred
EKG Experience - Preferred
EHR Experience - Preferred
Blood Draw Experience - Preferred
Medical Assistant Diploma - Required
MA Diploma must be from a program that meets accreditation standards from either CAAHEP or ABHES
BLS (AHA or ARC) - Required

Education:
High School graduate or equivalent (i.e. GED) required.
Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program required, on the job experience or training, and participation in a registration program conducted by an accredited by a national health services organization, such as American Medical Technologists, and passing the credentialing exam.- Required

Schedule:
80 Hours Per Pay Period
4-10 hours shift
07:00AM - 05:00PM
Currently have two positions open so one would have Wednesday's off and the other would have Tuesday's Off
