Position Title: Center of Excellence for Alzheimer's Disease Program Specialist Posting Number: R230292 Employer: Research Foundation Salary Range: $45,000 - $55,000 FTE: 1.00 Position Summary: The Center of Excellence for Alzheimer's Disease ( CEAD ) is a Department of Health funded program to support the Alzheimer's Disease and Memory Disorders Center ( ADMDC ) at the University at Buffalo to provide state of the art medical services consistent with evolving practice standards which enhances and standardizes AD/D care in the region. The goal is to: + Facilitate early diagnosis + Provide assistance with care planning + Educate the health care workforce and integrate special populations The CEAD is seeking a professional to fill the position of Center of Excellence for Alzheimer's Disease Program Specialist, who will assist the PI and program director in delivering CEAD program activities. Primary responsibilities of the Program Specialist include, but are not limited to: + First contact for scheduling and coordinating activities + Assist with reporting + Develop working relationships with UBIT and EMR to develop activity tracking procedures + Website and social media maintenance. + Assist with scheduling outreach activities and other scheduling requirements of the program director and primary investigator + Attend monthly meeting and prepare minutes. Minimum Qualifications: + Bachelor's degree in an appropriate field + 2 years experience in support of multiple programs/projects + Applicants should have strong oral and written communication skills + Highly organized and able to multi task + Ability to work independently after taking directives and yet able to seek help if needed + Excellent communication and computer skills + Proficiency with MS office suite, Excel, Outlook and SPSS + Demonstrates professional demeanor Preferred Qualifications: + Experience working with Alzheimer's/Dementia population + Familiarity with research and the clinical research process + Experience at UB in an academic and/or research environment Deadline for Applicants: Open Until Filled Quicklink for Posting: 47077
