Position Overview:

Ancon is seeking a motivated and reliable CDL Driver to join our dynamic team. This is not your typical over-the-road driving position; instead, it offers a hands-on opportunity to actively participate in our operations while utilizing your driving skills. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced environment, possess a strong commitment to safety, and demonstrate versatility in performing various technical duties associated with industrial cleaning and services.

Responsibilities:

Safely operate and maneuver company vehicles, including but not limited to sewer jetters, air movers, vacuum trucks, and roll-off trucks, to transport equipment and materials to and from job sites.
Adhere to all traffic laws, regulations, and company policies while operating vehicles on public roads and at job sites.
Assist with loading and unloading equipment and materials as needed, ensuring proper securement and safe handling procedures are followed.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and maintenance checks to ensure proper functionality and safety compliance.
Collaborate with team members to efficiently execute daily tasks and achieve project objectives in a timely manner.
Follow established safety protocols and procedures, including the proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to confined space entry requirements.

What Qualifications does the CDL Operator position require?

Valid Class A License with Tanker and Hazmat Endorsements
Safe driving record & good MVR. Vacuum truck experience a plus
Ability to drive manual trucks
Previous experience in operating commercial vehicles preferred
Ability to work in physically demanding environments, including outdoors, at heights, and in confined spaces
Strong commitment to safety and adherence to safe work procedures
Physically Fit for physical work requirements (and Respirator Fit Test)
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Team player with a good attitude and schedule flexibility
Willingness to learn and take on additional responsibilities as needed
