Synerfac is seeking a CDL Driver (Class B) for our client in Chesapeake, VA. Our client is one of the largest independently owned motor and pump shops in the U.S. that focuses on rebuilding and remanufacturing rotating electrical and mechanical equipment.
As a CDL Driver (Class B), you will safely operate commercial vehicles to pick up and deliver materials and equipment of various sizes/shapes/weights.
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate commercial vehicles, transporting materials, equipment, and personnel.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections, reporting any mechanical issues or damages.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring proper securing and weight distribution.
- Maintain accurate records of vehicle inspections, mileage, and incidents.
- Transport materials, including electrical motors, equipment, tools, and supplies.
- Assist in the setup, dismantling, and storage of equipment.
- Adhere to transportation regulations and company safety policies.
Job Requirements
- Class B CDL License
- Hazmat endorsement
- 4+ years of CDL driving experience
- Clean driving record
- Local knowledge of Hampton Roads
- Ability to travel and work over night
