CDL Driver

The CDL driver will be responsible for transporting materials and equipment to construction sites and must have a solid understanding of safety procedures and maintain vehicles in top condition Essential Function: Transport materials, tools, and equipment to and from construction sites Operate delivery vehicle in safe and efficient manner Inspect and maintain vehicle to ensure its in good condition Must be able to load and unload construction equipment Adhere to traffic laws and safety regulations while driving Managing fuel needs of vehicles Logging miles, driving hours and other activities as required to maintain compliance with federal and state laws Required to follow Standard Operation Procedures without deviation Minimum Qualifications and Required Skills: Valid Class A commercial driver's license (CDL) Clean driving record Experience driving a delivery truck or similar commercial vehicle Construction: 2 years Driving: 2 years Commercial Driving: 3 years Familiarity with traffic laws and safety regulations Able to pass DOT Alcohol/Drug testing Basic math and record keeping skills Current DOT medical card Competencies: Accountable Adaptable Builds Trust Coaches and Develops others Communicates Effectively Gains commitment Physical Demands/Work Environment: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is required to stand, walk; use hands to touch, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear This position requires driving The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
