Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Local Driver to join our team. As a Local Driver, you will be responsible for operating heavy equipment and commercial vehicles to transport goods and materials to various locations. If you have a strong work ethic, excellent driving skills, and a commitment to safety, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a tractor trailer
- Follow all traffic laws and regulations while driving.
- Ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Inspect vehicles before and after each trip to ensure they are in proper working order.
- Perform basic automotive repairs and maintenance as needed Promptly let us know about any repairs and maintenance as needed
- Adhere to company policies and procedures regarding safety and transportation.
Requirements
To excel in this role, you should possess the following skills:
- Commercial driving experience (2 year minimum) with a clean driving record.
- TWIC card preferred or willing to get one.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills to ensure timely deliveries.
- Good communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively.
