CDL A Semi Truck Driver

Job Description:

Hello, My name is Candy and I'm a recruiter for Sharp transportation Inc. We received a lead for one of our open class A positions.

Sharp has been in business for 32 years and going strong. As we grow we don't forget who drives our business.

•  Regional/OTR

•  11 western, no touch freight

•   1 week out, Reset at home.

•   miles per week.

•  All dispatched miles are paid (loaded or empty)

•  No touch freight, Other than our optional baked goods loads

•  Baked goods go to CA, AZ, NM, NV.TX (Baked goods, loads are completely optional)

•  For the baked goods, You hand unloadcases (5-15lb). Place them on a conveyor belt or rollers.

•   You never leave the back of the trailer.

•  We pay $20.00 per extra stop and $0.10 cpc unloaded.

•  So you can make $250-$300 for unloading one trailer, on top of your per mile pay.

•  We run dry van and reefer. No doubles, triples or hazmat.

•  Starting Pay based on experience .

•  After 90 days you will be evaluated for a raise.

•  Weekly Direct Deposit

•  After a year you are eligible for a raise, then every year on your anniversary after that.

•  Make up to $400, Safety- no out of service, no accidents, safety monthly video done paperwork turned in on time gives you $0.02 cpm

•  Production 10,500 miles adds $0.01, 12,500 miles per month adds $0.02 cpm.

•  Retention Bonus. Paid every 90 days for your first year with us.

•  We give you 4 payments of $500=$2000 for staying with Sharp.

•  2020 or newer Freightliner Cascadias and Volvos. (Automatics)

•  We are governed at 68 mph on cruise, 65 mph on pedal

•  Our trucks are put together with our drivers comfort in mind. TV mounts, Fridge, a lot of storage space.

•  APUs so you don't have to idle. Cattle guards. XM radio ready you would just need an account.

•  No slip seats the tractor assigned to you is yours till you separate from the company or we upgrade you to a new one.

•  $25,000 dollar life insurance free of charge to all our full time employees

•  must add a beneficiary.

•  Free Teladoc services, even if you decline our medical insurance.

•  Benefits the first month after 60 days of employment (45 day sign up).

•  Medical, vision, dental, short and long term disability. You can also add more life insurance coverage at this time.

•  401k available after 30 days. The company matches up to 4% .

•  Riders allowed

•  9 years and up

•  Pets allowed- no breed restrictions, no deposits.

•   Current vaccination records required for pets

Requirements:

•  21 years of age.

•  1 year of CDL A Experience

•  Clean MVR

•  Clean background and drug screen
