CDL A Driver

CDL CLASS A TRUCK DRIVERS needed in Durham, NC for local deliveries

HOME DAILY. NO OVERNIGHT.

PAY for Class A $20-24 HR/DOE

WEEKLY PAY

Must Live Within 40 miles of Durham, NC

Provide delivery and pick-ups of construction access materials and safety products as directed by the Assistant Branch Manager.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Routinely greet and interact with customers in a professional and courteous manner
The ability to count and identify products accurately
Bundle and palletize equipment as per company procedures and guidelines
Record counts and damages clearly on required forms
Perform daily inspections on vehicles and clearly fill out the required documents
Inspect equipment returned and document the necessary counts/comments legibly on the required forms
Assist warehouse personnel as required and directed by the Warehouse Supervisor
Advise the Assistant Branch Manager of maintenance needs of the vehicles as they arise

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Current CDL A operators license
Must have no restrictions on license
At least 21 years old
Clean MVR
Must have a minimum of 3 years overall driving experience
Must have copy of DMV record
Current DOT medical card
Strong customer service skills
Positive attitude/ability to work as a team
Excellent verbal communication
Proficient in basic addition and subtraction
Ability to neatly fill out paperwork
