Responsibilities:

• Safely operate and maneuver heavy-duty trucks to transport waste materials to designated locations
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working order
• Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations while driving and make safety a top priority
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate pick-up and delivery schedules efficiently
• Maintain accurate records of daily activities, including mileage, fuel consumption, and deliveries

Job Functions:

• Operate vehicles equipped with hydraulic lifts to load and unload waste materials
• Utilize GPS and communication devices to navigate routes effectively
• Monitor waste containers and ensure proper disposal in accordance with company policies and regulations
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as checking tire pressure and oil levels
• Maintain a clean and organized truck cab and cargo area

Skills:

• Experience as a CDL-A Driver with a minimum of 3 years of driving experience
• Proficient in operating CDL vehicles and familiar with safety protocols
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
• Excellent time management skills to meet delivery schedules
• Valid CDL license and clean driving record
