Position: Catheterization Laboratory Technician

Location: Columbia, SC

Schedule: 4x10-Hour Shifts (06:30 - 17:00)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Cath Lab Tech to join our dynamic healthcare team in Columbia, SC. The Cath Lab Tech will be responsible for assisting in cardiac catheterization procedures, ensuring equipment readiness, and providing quality patient care in our Catheterization Laboratory. This position requires flexibility in scheduling, as outlined below.

Responsibilities:
- Assist cardiologists and other medical professionals during cardiac catheterization procedures.
- Prepare and maintain the Cath Lab equipment and supplies.
- Monitor patient vital signs and provide appropriate care during procedures.
- Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the catheterization process.
- Collaborate with other healthcare team members to deliver high-quality patient care.
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory guidelines.

Schedule Details:
- This position operates on a 4x10-hour shift schedule.
- Regular workdays are Monday to Friday, with additional Sunday shifts.
- Employees will take call one weekend in a 5-week period.
- One Sunday shift is scheduled in a 5-week period, counted as one of the four regular workdays.
- A weekly call shift and a late stay shift are also required.
- Shift hours may vary between 6:30 am to 5:00 pm or 7:00 am to 5:30 pm, with rotation.

Qualifications:
- Certification as a Cath Lab Technologist or similar credential required.
- Previous experience in a cardiac catheterization laboratory preferred.
- Strong knowledge of catheterization procedures and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility in scheduling to accommodate weekend shifts, call shifts, and late stays.
