Radiology Tech II- Cath Lab- Full Time

Position Overview:
The radiologic technologist specializes in assisting with invasive cardiac procedures and other procedures performed in the Cardiac Cath Lab and Interventional Radiology.
The radiologic technologist is a professional caregiver who assumes responsibility and accountability for patients, under the direction of a registered nurse, for a designated time frame and provides care to these patients via the nursing process, environment/instrumentation, and other health care team members.
Performs other related duties incidental to the work described herein. All services will be provided in accordance with the hospital policies and procedures, with a focus on superior customer service.
Will be required to participate in rotating call schedule and be able to respond physically to the facility within 30 minutes of notification
Experience:
Previous cardiac related experience preferred but not required
Required License/ Certifications:
Current X-ray Technologist License in the state of Texas
Current Certification with the ARRT
American Heart Association or American Red Cross BLS certification
