ASC-28437 - Cath Lab Technician - Austin, TX - 13 Weeks Contract

Sigma Healthcare team is currently looking for a Cath Lab Technician to work onsite at our client's facility in Austin, TX.

Shift: 06:45 - 15:15

Summary:

Cath Lab Technicians are trained to assist interventional cardiologists in performing diagnostic and therapeutic minimally invasive cardiac procedures with the help of cardiac and coronary imaging.

Job Responsibilities:

The Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist is a health care professional that, through the utilization of specialized equipment and under the direction of a qualified physician, performs procedures on patients.

Resulting in an accurate diagnosis and/or optimal treatment of vascular disease while maintaining maximum patient safety and comfort.

The Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist performs/reviews a baseline patient assessment, evaluates patient response to diagnostic or interventional maneuvers and medications during endovascular procedures, provides patient care and drug administration commonly used in the cardiac endovascular laboratory under the direction of a qualified physician.

The Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist acts as a first assistant during diagnostic and therapeutic vascular procedures.

Job Order Modality:

Diagnostic Imaging

Combined Cath Lab Cardiac, IR, Vascular, and EP (travel techs will scrub EP, but not required to run EP equipment unless previously trained)

Prefer if tech is able to scrub and monitor.

Required Certifications/Licensure:

3 years' experience required.

Must have ARRT or RCIS.

Interventional Radiology experience required.

BLS, CPR and ACLS.

Previous Travel Experience.

Must have TX License.
