Job Description Now offering new pay rates. Northwest Health Porter is in need of a Full Time Days Cath Lab Tech to join our team. $10,000 FOR STUDENT LOAN REPAYMENTS- FULL TIME As a Cath Lab Tech, at Northwest Health, you'll play a vital role in doing what you do best - providing quality care to our patients. Requirements: Completing a cardiovascular technology program Registered via ARRT or RCIS or RCES certification preferred Minimum of 2 years' experience in radiology with at least 1 years' experience in procedural radiology setting, preferably Interventional Radiology or Cath lab Licensed in the State of Indiana Current BLS from the AHA or ARC. ACLS within 6 months Full time: 40 hours per week, Call, weekend, and/or holiday rotation may be required. About the job: Preparing patients and equipment for cardiac catheterization and interventions Performing common catheterization interventions including, stent placements, balloon angioplasties, heart valve replacements, and electrophysiology tests Operating intracardiac or intravascular ultrasound equipment, fluoroscopy equipment, or other imaging systems Assisting with handling venous and arterial catheters and wires Monitoring blood pressure and heart rate using electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG) equipment during procedures including coronary angiography, pacemaker implantation, aortic stenosis studies, and patent foramen ovale closures Calculating hemodynamic or physiologic values, and record waveforms for patient records Retrieving and analyzing imaging and other data obtained during procedures We know it's not just about finding a job.
