Requirements: Current BLS from AHA or ARC High School Diploma Previous experience working in a Cath Lab is required Valid Invasive Cardiovascular Registration from the National Board of Cardiovascular Technology- (CCI-RCIS) About the Job: Highly specialized in assisting during diagnostic and interventional cardiovascular procedures. Assists the physician during procedures and operates specialized equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Responsible for maintaining sterile techniques during procedure, recording and calculating data information and assisting in maintenance of a safe, efficient environment in an acute care area dealing with the adult patient population. Performs a variety of tasks under general supervision. Prepares written documentation as required by the profession and the department, regarding individualized treatment plans, evaluation results, and progress reports.
