OVERVIEW OF THE CASH SPECIALIST ROLE:
- The Cash Specialist will conduct daily deposits, starting from opening clinic bags containing checks and cash, ensuring accurate handling and documentation.
- The Cash Specialist will run a tape to confirm the accuracy of the deposit, reconciling against transaction records.
- The Cash Specialist will complete deposit tickets and post transactions to the General Ledger (GL), maintaining meticulous attention to detail and adherence to accounting principles.
- The Cash Specialist will investigate and resolve discrepancies in cash transactions promptly.
QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE CASH SPECIALIST:
- Proven experience in cash management or accounting role, preferably in a healthcare setting.
- Experience with treasury management and banking.
- Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software applications.
