Responsibilities to be Taught to the Cash Applications Specialist:
- Sorting, scanning, and processing incoming mail
- Receiving wires and ACH payments, researching and reconciling where necessary
- After initial training, learning transfers and processing voids
- Assisting with process automation over the next few months
Background Expected of the Cash Applications Specialist: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business, or experience equivalent (4 years of accounting experience)
- In addition to any education, one year of experience in an office setting including accounts payable, accounts receivable, or cash processing responsibilities is required
- Experience with a major ERP or database
- Ability to learn new processes and adapt to new software
