Carriage House Customer Service Representative

REPORTS TO: Sales Manager

FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt

POSITION TYPE: Full-Time

POSITION SUMMARY:

The customer service representative is responsible for handling orders that Carriage House receives from their dealers across the nation.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

1. Enter customer orders and invoice shipped orders
2. Manage incoming phone calls
3. Communicate with warehouse on orders to be pulled or issues needing addressed
4. Schedule freight and logistics for customer orders/shipments
5. Track customer orders being shipped out
6. Monitoring and reporting any low and outs
7. Create and Receive purchase orders/special orders
8. Organize and maintain files
9. Forecast inventory needs to help build container orders from factory
10. Track container orders from order point at factory to receiving in warehouse

REQUIREMENTS & QUALIFICATIONS:

1. Excellent communication and customer service skills, exceeding customer expectations
2. Effectively and promptly communicate with customers either by phone or electronically
3. Listen to customers' needs and to help communicate options
4. Must possess strong work ethic and interpersonal skills
5. Proficient in Excel
6. Cabinet industry knowledge preferred, but not required
