Job Description The Carpenter is responsible to repair, maintain and construct wood structures such as partitions, doors, furniture and similar items throughout the hotel. The Carpenter is to provide the highest quality service working in an efficient and thoughtful manner. At all times the highest level of service standards is to be adhered to. Qualifications Education & Experience: At least 2 years of progressive experience in a hotel or a related building environment 10 plus years of Building Carpentry experience Highly skilled in all aspects of finish carpentry, i.e. crown molding, wood base and trim work Ability to access high areas using a ladder Vocational/technical training or apprenticeship High school diploma. Trade school or apprenticeship in carpentry and/or construction. Work Authorization in the U.S. Physical requirements: Extended periods of standing, walking, climbing stairs, crouching/kneeling, bending and twisting Carrying/lifting up to 50lbs Repetitive motion Talking/communicating/listening Additional Information Employee benefit card offering discounted rates in Accor worldwide for you and your family.
