As Carpenter at the Thrill Capital of New England
You'll contribute to our mission by:
Framing, assembling, and adding finishing touches to capital projects, seasonal projects, and other park initiatives
Repairing buildings, structures, doors, windows, roofing, and miscellaneous items to ensure safe and efficient operation
Ability to work from heights of 100+ feet on our wooden roller coasters
Inspecting rides, attractions, structures, queue lines, stairs, etc., and reporting and repairing any noted safety hazards
Ensuring that specifications set by ride manufacturers, corporate policies, and the State of Massachusetts are complied with and documented
Keeping all daily repair logs and journals current and accurate of maintenance performed
Ensuring that all rides are clean and visually in compliance with manufacturer's specifications, and the expectations of our guests and management team
Assisting with daily operations and assignments including material lists, ordering, and execution of Maximo assignments
Performing other duties as assigned to meet the needs of the park
You'll do it with your:
Experience as a Carpenter
Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to safety
Sense of fun
Friendly, outgoing personality and ability to address guest concerns
Willingness to work in a high performance team environment
You'll know you're ready if you are:
Willing to work a flexible schedule, including some evenings, weekends, and holidays
Able to meet the physical demands of the job, with or without reasonable accommodations, including walking long distances, standing for long periods of time, lifting, working at heights, etc.
18 years old or older with a valid driver's license and clean driving history
Able to successfully complete pre-employment background and drug screenings
