Reimagine Network is a non-profit rehabilitative day program that offers an array of specialized therapies, enrichment services, independent living support, and more; to enable all participants to live an enhanced quality of life. The Caregiver (Certified Nurse Assistant, Medical Assistant), is a member of the care team who works under the supervision of a Program Supervisor and performs various personal care services as necessary to meet the participant's needs.
- Minimum Requirements:
- One year of recent experience working with disabled adults in a rehabilitation/neuro and senior setting.
- Must have mature judgment as well as decision-making skills needed to supervise participants.
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to participate in various therapeutic activities. CPR and First Aide certification are required.
- Must be able to perform all job functions.
- Ability to stand, walk, lift, transfer, and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, twist, and push as needed to provide direct care/assistance to participants.
- Essential Functions of Caregiver:
- Provide for the direct care of assigned program participants (as well as visual/auditory supervision to ensure the safety and welfare of the participant at all times).
- Assist the Program Coordinator with implementing indoor and outdoor program activities.
- Provide continued care and supervision of program participants including but not limited to toileting, personal care, feeding, transfer, and ambulation training.
- Maintain weights and blood pressure on assigned participants (if certified).
Method of Pay: Hourly, NON-EXEMPT
Hours of Work: 30 Hours/Week (M-F, 9 am-3:35 pm)
