Job title: Personal Assistant

Location: Yokosuka, Japan/ USA

Duties:
  • Assist with Activities of Daily Living including, prepping meals, and eating, showering, grooming, dressing (remove/put on clothes), transferring to and from furniture such as beds, desks, and chairs.
  • Assist with performing of daily living that an employee would typically perform him- or herself if he or she did not have a disability while the employee is away from the normal duty.
  • Assist with maintaining a healthy and safe environment (some cleaning, disinfecting, and organizing when necessary)
  • Accompany and assist employee on official travel and assist with work-related activities.
  • Assist in personal hygiene needs.
  • Provide catheter care and bowel program management.
  • Travel from Outside of the continental US to Continental US 48 connected states and the District of Columbia.

Requirements:
  • Have a current CPR certification.
  • Have and maintain a U.S. Passport.
  • Able and willing to travel both within the United States and internationally.
  • Have the ability to assist in performing personal tasks requiring the movement or lifting of persons.
  • Knowledge of the basic operational mechanics and functions of a manual wheelchair.
  • 1-2 years of experience as a personal assistant would be advantageous.
  • Skilled in general office automation.
