Caregiver Responsibilities: - Companionship activities such as reading, games, music, puzzles.
- Preparing meals and snacks, according to instructions
- Medication reminders
- Performing light housekeeping tasks, such as vacuuming, dusting, changing bed linens etc.
- Accompanying clients on errands or medical appointments
- Bathing/showering/toileting/dressing
- Assisting with prescribed active and passive range of motion exercises
- Special assistance for Alzheimer's, dementia, and Parkinson's care
Qualifications and Skills: - High school graduate or G.E.D. certificate
- Ability to read, write, speak and understand English as needed forthe job.
- Valid Driving License and reliable Vehicle
- Able to lift and bend with 50lbs.
- Willing and able to pass a background check.
- CNA license, Home Health Aide or Personal Care Aide certification is preferred.
