Goodwill Industries of Mid-Michigan is looking to fill a Part-Time Career Coach position in Genesee 20-29 hours a week. $15.00 an hour plus 20% discount on in-store purchases. I'm glad you asked. + 9 paid holidays, plus + Accrue paid vacation, plus + Accrue up to 1 week Personal Paid Time Off, plus + Part-time Associates are eligible for Vision insurance AND + Biweekly Direct Deposit AND + Pet Insurance AND + FREE Employee Assistance Programs AND Essential duties and responsibilities: + Contribute to the development and promotion of each individual's business. + Coordinate tasks/jobs within incubator space and/or community sites. + Ensure high quality of production of goods and services. + Assist individuals in reaching their IPOS goals, specifically with regard to their micro-enterprise business. + Ensure supplies are properly secured for each job. + Work on production, when necessary. + Coach and promote personal growth for each individual to reach quality standards. Education and Experience: + High school diploma required with a preference toward those with an Associate's Degree. + At least one year of experience working with people who have disabilities. + Previous production and/or training experience of at least two years highly desirable. + Must have computer skills and be able to type a minimum of 30 words per minute. + Experience in small business community preferred. + Graphic Design experience is a plus. Other Personal Qualifications: + Ability to function as a job coach for people with disabilities. + Dependable, tact, resourcefulness, initiative, and good judgment. + MDCH Direct Care Training or equivalent or complete training within 30 days. + Must have reliable transportation, a valid driver's license, a safe driving record and maintain car insurance. + May require lifting up to 25 pounds. + Requires standing and/or walking for periods of time.
